There are many tricks and commands in AutoCAD that can increase drawing operations.
Using short commands (1 or 2 chars) from the keyboard will reduce time of making drawing.
Most common commands in AutoCAD (line, circle, layers from Express Menu) can be re-define in Program Parameters file (acad.pgp).
