Like Reference Manager in AutoCAD 2004, Change Xref program is used to change all paths of external references (found in Xref Manager dialog) but in the simpler way.

Written in Visual Basic 6.0, this program has ability to search all open drawings and change their old xref paths to the new paths. Unlike Reference Manager, that can only run on AutoCAD 2004, this Change Xref program can run on all versions of AutoCAD from 2000 to 2004.

In some cases, users move xref (child) drawings to another folder. If these xrefs are not put in the same folder of parent drawing, when opening this parent drawing, attached drawings can not display.

Change Xref can replace a part of old path with a part of new path. For example, when moving drawing libraries from computer \\Cadserver to computer \\Architecture, all drawings that have xrefs attached can not display these xrefs. If you have a large number of AutoCAD drawings, this program will save time to change their xref paths.

Activate file ChangeXRef.exe to open the program.
